Overall length was reduced 5.9\u00a0inches (150\u00a0mm) and height dropped half an inch (12\u00a0mm), but overall weight was up about 75\u00a0lb (34\u00a0kg). Pontiac abandoned the familiar vertically stacked headlights in favor of a horizontal layout, but made\u00a0hidden headlights\u00a0available at extra cost. The concealed headlights were a popular option.
